Community Action Seminar
March 21 & 22, 2006, Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus - Honolulu, Hawaii
The Hawaii National Guard Counterdrug Program supported the Annual Community Action Seminar held on the Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus. The Counterdrug Program provided the extra manpower needed to run the event. Facilitators from the Counterdrug Program were on site to help bring people together to form strong community teams.
There was an array of citizens from different backgrounds including law enforcement, schools, businesses, treatment professionals, and more. The goal was to empower communities to work together toward a common goal of decreasing underage drinking, drug use and gangs.
